The Joke is, ok, the Eu laws, but:

How can Thailand  sell this stuff?

Imho, They would need it themself, to reduce the own footprint

The whole selling of 'carbon credits' is a complete joke and serves to show that these countries purchasing carbon credits have no real interest in climate change or reducing carbon if they did have they would reduce their own carbon footprint rather than doing dubious deals with poorer countries.
