Who but a complete idiot puts valuables worth 200,000THB in a suitcase? Unless of course the amount has been 'estimated' for insurance purposes. Coming from Thailand surely she should be used to lack of action by the police 😂

She wasn't asking for celebrity status. It is not unreasonable to expect the police to accept a theft report . Telling the victim of crime to return to the city where the loss may have or have not occurred is negligence.

The airline will be liable for a basic amount, but that doesn't cover much.

In respect to her travels, consider it poetic justice for flying to a sanctioned country. Good luck on trying to collect anything from the Russians.
