Are Thais still feeding the monkeys up on Hin Lek Fai..?

My house is near the Chinese temple on the way up to the lookout.  Every evening Thai ladies come with buckets of tomatoes, bananas, coconut, mangoes etc.. Despite written notice that it's forbidden.

..But in a time when so many unfortunate folk are queuing for food hand-outs in/around town I would like to think that the food destined for the monkeys could be cooked and help the needy..?  Or is this not Thai logic...Monkeys need food 'cos there's so, so many of them, and without the donations each evening they'll starve.. mmm?

Without the food deliveries will these monkeys start to get hungry..& even more aggressive..?

which side is that? north or south?

North put's me near Big C, South puts me in the trees with the damn monkeys..555.. So I'm East of the temple..(downhill)

My wife and I were driving past the monkeys a couple weeks ago and we saw a monkey running out of a shop, just down the street, with a big bag of candy in his hand. It was the funniest thing. I was wondering if maybe the shop owner left his shop for just a moment and the little $#%&*%$ was waiting for the opportunity. If I had a shop near there I would have anti-monkey security!

I am open to hearing what anti-monkey security measures actually are. If suitable then I would propose installing similar equipment at parliament house
