No questioning or challenging follow-ups/deeper investigations from the obedient media. Swept under the rug in a few days. The copper in question will quietly reassigned. All forgotten.

And everything will be fine within the oligarch.

What reputation. The only reputation the RTP has is for corruption, ineptitude and lawlessness. I would suggest that this sort of action reinforces the 'reputation' of the RTP
