Bum washers rule - I even eventually got round to installing one at home here in the UK.

Me too, I have not used toilet paper for 15 years and most of those 15 years were spent in the UK.

When I have a shower, I use water to wash my body, I do not rub myself clean with toilet paper. 😄

Hose better than Paper. Shower better than Hose.

Seeing as we are going into detail.

First hose with 300W water pump, then shower with 300W water pump.

Which results in the cleanest arse in the world. 😄

It never used to. But we have entered the age of turbocancer. Baffling.

There is no such thing as turbocancer. Aggressive cancers have been around since the dawn of time. The patient here may have very well had an aggressive cancer that he ignored for a year or more. One of the negative results of Covid was that so many health care workers were off sick that diagnostic procedures  were postponed or delayed for 2 years+ as critical care was given priority.

Leukemia is suspected but not confirmed?

Leukemia is easy to test for so who is assuming this condition, the doctors or the patient and his mate?

What about the following?

Alcohol abuse can lead to anemia in different ways. Also, drinking in large amounts while suffering from anemia can bring a number of negative side effects. It may make the condition worse as well. The side effects of alcoholism and anemia include:

  • Lower production of red blood cells
  • Ulcers or inflammation that can lead to blood loss
  • Blood cell destruction leads to a low blood count
  • Anemia
  • The list goes on

A few weeks of heavy binge drinking might be a factor?

Do you mean the Japanese-style toilet with built-in water jets etc controller with buttons on the toilet base?

The toilet paper is used to dry yourself but not wash?

Overall, a very sad situation.

Um, unfortunate, even somewhat predictable, or at least able to be planned for,  but I would not say sad.  Its up to him and his family to bail him out

Only if you pay

I have no idea how much the test would cost, but the cost for dengue was about 3000 baht, I asked the doc which type of dengue have I got, he said we have to do another blood test, Im not that bothered,

This guy sounds like he's on his ass, so no tests for him. Im surprised that they are even feeding him, perhaps they aren't and his mates are providing.

Well, that applies to anything.

But who came up with the idea of Leukemia is my question.

I had back pain in Phuket a few years ago, I had slipped and fallen onto some steps backward hitting my lower back on the steps.

The pain did not go away for a few weeks, so I went to the hospital.

I saw a specialist in a private hospital in Phuket, he said the x-rays showed I have degenerative spondylitis, and the bones in the spine would continue to degenerate finally fusing,  I asked what about the future, "a wheelchair", and he said yes.

When I got back to the UK, I had an MRI scan, xrays, etc and the result was no tissue damage relating to the spine, and no spondylitis, I had damaged the muscles in the lower back and needed to exercise, stretch them over many months to build the muscle back, five years on and still all is OK, my back is normal.

So I will always get a second opinion after being diagnosed with a condition that was initially done in Thailand.

What were your symptoms of dengue fever, any severe pains in your joints, arms, legs etc?

Perhaps I can jump in here.  I was infected with Dengue Fever 18 or so years ago.  High temp, bad flu like symptoms, very painful joints.  Unfortunately, mine was the hemorrhagic type, bleeding into the joints, which destroys cartilage. I was largely immobile for 6 weeks.  I suffer from the lasting effects to this day.

Ive had it twice and both different, I wouldnt say severe pains more like a real bad dose of flu all I wanted to do was sleep, sick a couple of times but I did eat, rice porridge soup mostly then had the trots a few times.

You were lucky.  I too got it again, but the second time was, as predicted by my Doctor, quite mild, as the anti bodies from the first bout dealt with it.  The first bout stopped my skiing, jogging and mountain walking forever.

The first time they kept me in hospital but the second time no, I think I'm the same I'm not mobile like I used to be, hey it's one way to lose weight 6 kilo's in a week, my soon to be neighbour got stuck in Bangkok with it and she said to me they were injecting her with morphine, seems serious she said she was in a lot of pain,

It was years on Tramadol for me. Thankfully I'm now off that full dose medication, but I use Ultracet when I need to.

Sorry to hear that.

I asked as I returned to England after I had been here a year a few years ago.

I had unimaginable pain in my arms, legs, and shoulders, my white cell count was over the top and I was losing a kg every few days.

Initially, the doctors in the UK suspected it was bone cancer due to other factors so I had a full MRI scan and all sorts of tests and it was all negative.

I was living on very strong painkillers for a few months and then it all went away, we never found out the reason.

I went back to 'normal'.

It is the reason I asked about Dengue fever symptoms.

Thai Hospitals always looking to shamelessly make money.

Was diagnosed severe heart stenosis ( two spots) recently by BPH looking for pricey stent work no doubt.

Priority NHS angiogram on basis BPH report revealed only moderate stenosis in two places ( one important artery one unimportant) managed by diet -exercise -medication. Aspirin only for me. Wont do Statins.

BPH also quoted me 50k for unnecessary Skin Cancer Surgery. Robbers in medical gowns.
Went down the road to Siriroj where the old skin doc treated all on walk in with cryofreeze gas 2k baht total !

My get up routine in tropics always includes substantial high strength (military jungle grade) DEET insect repellant spray all over after shower. Screw the “cancer risk”……

So far so good, fortunately never caught anything anywhere from insect bites, or any other cause, other than harmless  flu/ cold/ covid stuff, caught from humans ! Take Anti - Flu Jab every year.

Regular recent advanced NHS Blood- Poo- Piss Tests reveal all normal readings with zero cancer indicators.
