Even if the bulb is flickering, why can't he wait for her to finish her shower and carryout the repair work? Or at least he could have told the child to wait for him to fix the faulty bulb and the to carryout shower. Looks like the old man is trying to create some story to gain sympathy.

Peeping Tom got caught peeping at a 13 year old girl naked. He deserves a smack in the face and/or reporting to the police. Stabbing him is not a great reaction though, to be fair though If it had been my 13 year old daughter I would have punched his lights out then dragged his pedo ass to the police station.
