It is easy...just announce that goverment will take full responsibity for the first 2 children in a family for all the expenses incurred from child birth till they complete univerisity education. And implement the law for next 100 years without any change. For sure will have the boom that the minister is looking for.

Great idea, bringing more kids into poverty.  Get a  proper social security, health, education and pension system in place before you produce yet more dirt poor farmers, bar girls, road workers and beggars.  A very stupid statement among so many.

I don’t rate that Cholnan character at all- wouldn’t trust him to walk around dog shit. He was the same bloke who white-anted Khao khai after the elections. He should have honoured his promise and fallen on his sword. Declining birth rates are directly proportional to higher educational outcomes for women. You want to increase the birth rate? Pull all girls out of school and deny them the opportunities for meaningful employment.
