The civil unrest following the February military coup, paired with the a spike in Covid-19 infections, is expected to cause Myanmar’s economy to contract by 18% this year, according to the World Bank. I've read that tourism account for a similar percentage of Thailand's GDP. Even more if you take into account the subsequent follow-on spending and circulation of money elements of economic theory. So why is the Economic council of Thailand predicting economic growth exceeding 1.5% this year? Baffling!

Yes….and Just because some fathead Junta dictator got upset because the election showed that he wasn’t liked by the people. He made the rare mistake (for a dictator) of actually NOT rigging the election in his favour so he got an honest result which his pride wouldn’t let him live with.

He needs to follow the lead of the Thai dictator rewrite the constitution so he can hand pick the majority of the senate then hold a sham election

And yet it seems totally normal and acceptable over in this sector by other fatheads as long as they control their piece of the pie with their elite. Problem for them there is Russia and China gonna help them as they all have the same mentality of being: Screw the people and everyone else not with us.
