And there is data going back how far? Two or three hundred years, at the best. Anything further back is an educated guess, which gives those with a vested interest plenty of wriggle space to ignore anything that does not fit the agenda. The climate is going through a period of change, that can't be denied, nor can our contribution to it be, but how significant that is and if we have delayed or bought forward the inevitable (the next ice age) is anyone's guess at the moment.
