I disagree

Their gender is important in that it pinpoints a certain group that it committing certain crimes in an area

In this case it's LB's or crossdreseers

No different than when talking about thr young gypsy kids pickpockets in Italy

Or now in NYC there are a rash of very young black kids(less than teenage years) going around a certain area robbing stores and bars

It's not painting all LB's in Thailand as guilty but it is pointing out that it is an issue with LB pickpockets

Well theres anoyher angle, it relates to hypocrisies WITHIN political cotrectness

Rightly or wrongly, and it doesn't make much sense, transgender gets lumped in with gay. Why do they not mention someone's gayess or lesbianism, when they do a crime?

Pattaya is like Blackpool with more sun, but also when it rains, the rain is more severe. Its not a town I enjoyed, but I've seen far worse

I'd say Pattaya and San Jose Costa Rica are the two worst cities I've been to in my travels

Yes, it can get get very confusing - my nephew came out as as trans a couple of years back, but her partner is also trans. Gay, BI, something else? No idea.

I'm not being transphobic, if I say trans doesn't have a definition in itself. It sits at the intersect, of a number of unrelated things. Intersex, homosexuality, neurodivergence, etc.

Ignore trans, its meaningless. Treat them as they belong, on the soectrums above. All of which are more tangible.

Did demure, feminine transsexuals, ever exist?

This was the prevailing UK stereotype, at one point, in fact through the 1999s. with similar examples in Japanese, US, and probably other media.

They might be a bit mental, their status as women, might be debatable, but they were feminine in disposition, conservative as regards gender roles, and their dilemma was understandable, earning them popular sympathy.

But how real was it?

Did they ever deserve sympathy?

If the  nephew was born male but gender identified as female and the partner was born female but gender identifies as male, then they are in a heterosexual relationship aren't they. If both are identifying as female or male, then they are in a homosexual relationship. Labeling made easy 😛
