Ladyboy prostitutes have been a problem thieving and attacking people who reject their advances for 20 years or more, every time the Royal Thai Police respond with we will keep more of an eye on the situation and every time nothing is done apart from the occasional photo op sweep of the street.

There are no "woman" with dicks!

Only man with boobs!

They are crossdressers, not even all of them bought boobs!

I was staying on Soi 29 or somewhere by there, went out to 7-11 with 1000 baht and was approached by 3 ladyboy crossdressers

They did the grab for your dick while stealing our money

I went to police station in Thonglor, they had 100's of mugshots of LB's who have robbed people, 100's

I mean sure but would these individuals behave better if they hadn't "transitioned" or whatever. They might be a bigger problem even I don't know. And Id rather a hundred of them rob a few unsuspecting souls throughout Thailands redlight districts daily than 10 non-transitioned ones commit violent crimes.

And then there's also decent people in the lot of them.. So I just feel like it's not worth making an issue of the ladyboy petty crime problem.. like in every article doing recaps of all the recent stories. It's basically nothing.

A) my incident wasn't in a RLD

B) I don't even know your point

When one group has 100's of mug shots in just one police station, it is obviously an issue, with the police confirming it as well

There was an evil creature that used to lie in wait on Rat U near the patong  seafood restaurants, It would lie in wait like a predatory spider, as unsuspecting people who had just escaped the gauntlet of menus travail of questionable quality fish, let their guard down, it would pounce sinking its nails into your arm and attempting to entice with its raspy screech. It was as powerful as any  evil creature could be from depth of  Lucifer's abode. One night it almost got me, as its grip was tight and it was consumed with lust for my innocent body. It took all my strength to free from its grasp. I used large amounts of antiseptic on my arm afterwards and nearly used a bar of Zest to rid its foul presence from my arm.

One of the craziest street fights I've ever been involved in (and was unfortunately probably the initial tipping domino that kicked it off) was in Rawai in Phuket. Stopped in to a 7-11 to grab some water and snacks, and was accosted by a small group of LBs saying "hey sexy man" and generally soliciting me, rubbing my arms and trying to cup my cocknballs. They were obnoxiously drunk. I heard a ZIP sound clearly coming from my shoulder bag, I turned around, and as I noticed one of their hands in my bag, another one grabbed my HAIR and started punching me in the face.

Thankfully, I had been fighting Muay Thai for many years already and getting tapped in the face by a drunk LB wasn't the worst of what I had endured at that point, and my wife (who is an amateur world champion) also jumped in, and together we fought off the grabber and the thief but their friends were also now hair pulling and punching MY WIFE, which I guess was too much for the passers-by to tolerate, so a throng of motorbike taxi and boat taxi guys descended on us and as my wife and I gathered ourselves after a few seconds, we witnessed a group of probably 12-15 Thai men beating the living shit out of the whole group of LBs with pretty much nobody even trying to stop them. Very nasty outcome.

The next day I was speaking to a server at a restaurant adjacent to the scene (Salaloy Seafood), and she said she heard about what happened but it wasn't a surprise because those Kathoey are always causing trouble and being a nuisance. She was trying to be careful not to seem like she had a problem with them, but was understanding of people who did.

my point is it's all the most minor issue and their "gender" is irrelevant.

edit: other than its always made me  pay more attention to my valuables when they get close.

I disagree

Their gender is important in that it pinpoints a certain group that it committing certain crimes in an area

In this case it's LB's or crossdreseers

No different than when talking about thr young gypsy kids pickpockets in Italy

Or now in NYC there are a rash of very young black kids(less than teenage years) going around a certain area robbing stores and bars

It's not painting all LB's in Thailand as guilty but it is pointing out that it is an issue with LB pickpockets

But that sort of backs up my point

I am sure the Thai guys reacted that way because the LB's have been known to cause trouble in the area

I am definitely not a fan of Thai guys jumping into fights, as they like to do

But in this case it was to be helpful

Often wonder why farangs who live in Pattaya, or visit from other areas of Thailand, expose themselves to the Pattaya tourist zone shit show.  Does it hold its appeal after 1 or 2 times?  What do they find enjoyable there?   I'm talking the denser bar/drinking zones chockablock with Hunters hunting the steady supply of prey falling off the conveyor belt from Swampy.

I'm no prude or anything, been there done that, got ALL the t-shirts.  Still wander down into the zone for a few restaurants, the Malls, etc., but tend to exfil before it gets too late at night, when the flesh eating Zombies come out, or worse, a gaggle of Thai motorbike yobs kick off and out comes a 9mm.  To me, the juice ain't worth the squeeze.  I'd rather hang out with local desperadoes up and over on the Dark Side, and (hopefully) avoid becoming a star in Thaiger's "Morning After" News Forum. 😋

One time we stayed at Baan Lamai on Beach Rd

I was a bit younger so an early night would be 4am and usually 5-6am

My wife would go home earlier

I would have to run a gauntlet of LB's just from the Tuk Tuk up to the hotel entrance!

You think RTP is influenced by the past several years of LGBTQXYZ attention, to the extent that targeting them specifically would bring them grief on social/international media?

Only a guess on my part - the lady boy street urchins don't have much (or any?) standing in the local mafia pecking order.  Tolerated, to a point, but if they get out of hand too much for too long, the local cartels will sort them out to protect the overall enterprise.

Exactly, I meant to reiterate what you had said with a story of my own. Not saying a group of Kathoeys getting their asses totally handed to them is a good thing, but they had absolutely no sympathy from the locals because the sentiment was that they had it coming.

Nope I think RTP are too bone idle to do anything about anything unless there is something in it for them.

We all like different things

I HATED Pattaya from the minute I stepped foot in it

Just a shith*le, in my opinion

But others may not like where I do

And I was partaking in the p4p scene, I just didn`t like Pattaya

Much preferred Patong-Phuket where there are decent beaches and other things to do

Plus felt the farang in Pattaya were so low class

Stipulated without objection.  LOL.

Yeah, it's grotty, seasoned with a dash of spicy sewerage and delicious diesel exhaust wafting about the open air breakfast buffets along Beach Rd.  Paradise.

I try not to give the late-bloomers a hard time.  They may have had dull lives back in old Europe or wherever, married to a female of the species who, at some point, morphed into a nagging 200lb lumberjack.   A victim of internet Asian fever, he finally splashes out on an air ticket to scratch that itch with a fit 39-year old Octomum with a lovely smile who, like an angel, doesn't smoke, drink, or have a mustache. 🥸

So now they are 'transgender' and not the well-recognised 'kathoey'? Another win for the politically correct cancel clan.

It doesn't even mean the same thing. Kathoey is essentially eunuch + intersex; its about a combination of 'neuter'-ness (lacking male and female traits) and congenital pathology. These mstters, woukd stand regardless of self-identity, and self-expression, and contrary to transxactivism, they do depend on pathology.

Pattaya is like Blackpool with more sun, but also when it rains, the rain is more severe. Its not a town I enjoyed, but I've seen far worse
