Nothing can be changed in Phuket except on papers only. Was in Nakhon Si Thammarat last weekend.....Kilometer long isolated beaches, No beach vendor, No tourists crowd. No trash.....only waves and sea breeze.....away from the city and crowds.

Nothing can be changed unless the people change their attitude and strict enforcement is imposed at Phuket - No plastic and no Styrofoam....simple as that

Sure and all that is obvious good and Phuket and other Thai tourist towns should be more proactive in all of that..............

 

But you can't compare a quiet town to the most popular tourist destinations in the world 

 

I was on a deserted island and it was way cleaner than Nakhon Si Thammarat
