Yes that's right a single event in Bangkok has stopped all the chinese tourists going to Chaing Mai ! 

I think highly unlikely but without the bus loads and tour guides I guess there's more room for the rest of us to visit this wonderful city now so a silver lining after all

yes, a single event can drop the tourism. Nobody want to get fired, specially if they can go to other places. in recent years there is a dangerous formula in Thialand: Methanphetamines+guns.

Thailand must choose: Guns and methanphetamines or tourists.
