Do Thais have some sort of a rule book outlining what lucky events are and which aren't? 

What is the correlation in the 1st "good luck" turtle event?  Makes a point to say the turtle rocked up to this guy's house, # 102, Moo 13.  The 3 top winning numbers in the next Lotto were 2 0 2.    

In this new event, the article makes a point to say the turtle's weight was between 8.8 and 8.9 kilograms, entering this guy's house on the Buddhist holy day, the 8th day of the waning moon of the 10th month, specifically on October 7.   So what are the lucky numbers this time?  88. 10. 7?  What about the house and Moo number?  Only lucky once?  Is that in the Lucky Man Rule Book?

Amusing to consider the reaction by his neighbors if none of them won the Lotto this time, and then this 55 year old lucky turtle actor returns home to see his house has burned to the ground. 

What then?  Bad Karma?  Probably had it coming.

I’ve said it before but the slightest event out of the ordinary and immediately Thai people think it’s a sign for them to personally win the lottery?? I guess if you don’t have much money then you become desperate to believe any superstitious rubbish, it’s all a little sad.

So lots of people got 100 baht for having the 02, for a 80 baht ticket!

For sure it's 444. Driving back from Nong Khai the other day, I happened to glance at the fascia clock. It read 4-44. But there is more. While the reading was still the same, I encountered a coconut seller by the side of the H2. She was scrummie. I stopped and bought some nuts from her. She gave me a piece of paper with her name and mobile number on it.

Obviously, by the time I got going again, it was well passed 4-44. I looked the the paper and the number finished in; wait for it; 444.

I'm going to be 10k baht better off today.
