Yes, it always puzzles me the way that the apologists blame it all on poverty and deprivation, and ignore the way that it is always the designer clothes and high end TVs that get looted first..

And what color were these decrepids? What ever color or walk of life, my opinion is just shoot them, and if don't shoot them then they need to be put away in a prison island they cannot get off for a long time. Take them out of society.

Next they will cry after the stores shut down. 

Grocery stores are shutting down in Chicago.   Targets are closing nine stores over the theft in New York City, Seattle, San Francisco and Portland.  REI is closing in Portland due safety concerns and theft.
