Covid vaccines and do they stop the variants

Just a quick post

I have a colleague in the uk who has had the 2 jabs and now has to quarantine because he now has covid.

I’m not certain what vaccines he had but I will try and find out.

It just makes me a little apprehensive about the whole thing and the vaccines.

Hopefully everyone else has a better experience but I’m just putting it out there for you all to think about. Symptoms like a head cold but they said it wasn’t as severe as others who hadn’t had the jab.

I have another family who I know in the uk and they’ve had at least 1 jab and they now have covid too, I’m not sure of what strain of the virus but I’m going to message them later, they’re effects were a lot more severe no energy whatsoever.

peace and take care ?

Probably AstraZeneca, as the UK mainly depended on that.

The TV presenter Andrew Marr got infected after being fully vaccinated with Pfizer

The primary goal of the vaccines was always to prevent hospitalizations and death. This means that, if you get infected, your antibodies, primed by the vaccine, will fight the infection before it gets too far.

In that, the three main Western vaccines have been extremely successful. As a side benefit, they also dramatically reduce the chance of you getting infected of passing the virus on to others if you are fully vaccinated.

If the Delta variant breaks through, you will have relatively mild flu-like symptoms. It could certainly be a rough ride if your body is already weak or if you have other health problems. The key difference in those cases is that, without the vaccine, you would probably die.

Yup. The protection generated by the first jab does little to stop Delta.

Delta is now the dominant strain in the UK.

With any jab, that would be a lot worse.

The good news is that their immunity will now be far more rounded than the immunity generated by the vaccine alone.

They don't stop variants, in fact mass vaccination creates new strains.

As well as data from Israel shows they useless.

Their hospitals are full of vaxedd.

They claim 64% effectiveness.

Vaxx protect u for 6 months too, they in third dose now.

So if u jab it u might jab it every 6 months if u survive all jabs.

Best is just live as normal and u be just fine
