How about prosecuting the employers of these illegals, that would be more likely to stop the import of illegal labour than just prosecuting and deporting the workers. These people would not flock to Thailand as they do if they were not guaranteed work. -

People driving against the flow of traffic is so commonplace in Thailand (albeit it is usually motorcycles) it is inevitable that this type of accident will happen. You might think though a police officer would have seen the results often enough to discourage him from doing it unless of course there were other factors like alcohol, drugs or falling asleep at the wheel.
