Stay away from Tuktuks, many drivers are crooks, aggressive and often drunk.

I've never had any issues with a tuk til that I have hired

 

Actually they were a great help when I had my dog in Patong

 

Even now, the rare occasion we take a tuk tuk they have always been helpful

 

Last time we had the MB in Kamala and didn't expect to drink as much as we did

The bar called a tuk tuk and the tuk tuk drove us while his friend drove our MB so I didn't have to go get it the next morning 

 

But they can be a bit of jerks when parking in Patong
