Why grumble and complain now? Who is to blame?...the Russians?.....No. It is you the locals and officials should be blamed for such a situation. When they spend money you were very happily taking it.Now they have learnt the trade from the Chinese and are following the same strategy. There is a proverb in Tamil..."You let the calotes inside your pants and now it has siverly bite your little fellow" No point in complainig that it is causing sever pain. You either loose your little fellow or chop off the calotes that is hanging to your little head. Good luck to you.

Serves them right, I have no sympathy for Thailand over the deteriorating Russian problem.  They should never have opened their doors to these criminally minded Nationals. You reap what you sow. Thailand is always sitting firmly on the fence over everything and this is what happens when you have no moral compass and never make a stand on any principle.  It will only get worse.

Oh, round them up and kick them out otherwise stop complaining about it. The thing about too much of one race especially Russians and Chinese is never a good thing. Reap what you sow, but having too many Russians here before like in Pattaya isn’t a new thing. But just like any race, there’s good ones and there’s bad ones so just don’t let them proliferate like a bunch of ants or cockroaches.

Happens with each tourist infux as the Thai's chase the money but only look at the short term - Japanese, Korean, Chinese,  and now Russians. And that is just the last three decades.
