You would think he should’ve waited until after the funeral, taking her on a little holiday, and then sprung the question.

What would’ve made it better if he had a nice bottle of cold expensive champagne, popped it open and then sprung the question. Now that’s class.

I w*ke up on a Tuesday in BKK and ask my now wife is she wanted to get married today.

Everything done and dusted by 4pm that day.

Didn't even have an engagement ring, got that about 6 months later...........

We were together for 5 years before that.........

My line was sort of a joke based on him being at the funeral and popping the question.

My post quote: What would’ve made it better if he had a nice bottle of cold expensive champagne, popped it open and then sprung the question. Now that’s class.

I too also did not immediately marry my wife. But sure glad I did. Nothing fancy and no honey moon either. But she has been showered in gifts that were past due that every woman should have if possible from her guy. Marriage, such a give and take with love the one thing that holds it together throught the thick and the thin which everyone has. Giving each other their needed space is one of the best sugesstions I can ever say to do. Glad you are happy Marc.
