It is all posturing now - the generals have shown that they are still in control, the feeding spots at the trough have all been allocated, and the funding for all the vanity projects has been signed off. Short of a miracle that removes the military veto - which would probably result in yet another military coup - nothing will change.

Business as usual, the army still firmly running the show whilst pretending they are not so that the false sense of Thailand actually being a democracy is maintained. I suspect nothing short of a civil overthrowing of the Generals will ever change this situation, the army like the power and will not ever give it up voluntarily.
