What a sad indictment of Thai law enforcement when the victim of a crime is frightened that the perpetrators might be influential. I wonder if the law and police in Thailand will ever truly represent and defend ALL citizens equally? Not in my lifetime and not while corruption throughout Thai society is treated as normal and largely goes unpunished.I am sure.
