Does 'self gratification' mean what I think it means?

In case you think this, yes :-)

the act of pleasing oneself or of satisfying one's desires

especially :

Hairy palms, or short-sightedness? Or does that warning only relate to males?

A budding nymphomaniac no less.

Had one once, well more than once, but you get where I'm at .... wore me out but it was fun doing it in all manner of public places when she had the urge.

in a family of close bond, daughter abnormal activity can be easily monitored , it is happy that the mother monitored closely,  daugther when they grow big have various distractions, it is not only applicable to ladies to boys too.  The main cause is the mobile phones, face book, tiktok and other private means, there is a increase target of finding young boys and girls with the help of AI and target advertisments such as videos to move their heads, this is theory is being applied across google, facebook, tiktok as " target advertisment'.

Is masturbation a profane word now?

If the girl is post-pubescent, then these urges are not abnormal unless they become compulsive.  Give her time and some education about what she's going through.  However, in a country where we apparently can't say the word 'masturbate', perhaps the education would be less than effective:

Teacher: Never let a boy put his you-know-what into your you-know-where."

I think it mentioned she was at it 12 times a day at the Peak.

So nothing untoward there. 😆
