Another mule is busted and then how many more got away with it? I would like to know if this guy was forced threatened some way to do this.

Whether he was or wasn't we will never know though I suspect that will be his mitigation in court.

They are pretty switched on at the airport in Lima when it comes to potential drug smugglers. My wife was tagged as a potential drug mule when she left Lima because she was a youngish Thai woman flying back to Thailand alone in Business Class, which met the authorities drug mule profiling. They flagged her to Brazilian authorities who then searched her quite thoroughly when she went into transit in Buenos Aires on her way back to BKK and they also off loaded her baggage and tipped it upside down in front of her and dozens of other passengers and thoroughly searched every item. She was scared and embarrassed when it happened but she loves recounting the story now and the staff were very nice to her once they realized that she was just a normal traveller.

Yeah, and the real truth is what needs to be. I have a story about an old aquaintance who got trapped like this in Brazi airpoer Sao Paulo. Forced and threatened and well he di the time as was guilty. But not here.

A can of Coke is 375ml. This guy had 4 x 570 ml condoms of liquid cocaine inside his body…. I wish I never asked myself “How did he do that?”

Damn. So the mule had bad opsec. Mules should have Valium on them and/or beta blockers so they don't look nervous.

I feel bad for mules.  But thats just me
