This looks like trying to get a cheap publicity. People who sincerly wanted to donate will not record their act and post it in social media for publicity. I feel that the Thai singner just took this opportunity to gain some publicity. If the receiving person post it in his social media thanking the singer, then it can be considered as an act of generocity. Looks to me like self inflicted fame.
