just a guess but maybe the cause of the plate falling was gravity?

Seems death and big road construction are big things here. Would seriously like to know how many fatalities or major accidents occur per job site as it seems mishaps. I used to be a project manager here on really big factory sites over 24 years ago, but there was not really many accidents so to speak of. Had them yes, but no deaths or maiming.
