Just a couple of queries, hope you have the answers.

In view of the dramatic increase of covid  cases in Thailand, is there any possibility that the second  vaccine date will be brought forward.

Also the number of cases found, how does this relate to the actual number tested. ??

In answer to the 1st question then given statements from the government recently then the answer is no, you can not vaccinate people or bring dates forward if there is an inadequate supply of the vaccines. As for your 2nd question I have forwarded it the man in the moon as I doubt you will get the true answer any where else.  Thats;   maninthemoon@universe.com

Nah... There's a guy in the back of Chatuchack on Sunday afternoons. Reads rat bones. He's got the straight-skinny on everything. (NB: you have to bring your own bones.)

The cases v test statistic is not a consistent one worldwide as different countries have varying levels of quoting it. Some areas like the UK & Australia as an example, have consistently recorded it as they see high value for their health officials in understanding how much the pandemic has spread.

Different countries have different thoughts. Thailand's focus seems to have been more on reporting cases found, recoveries and deaths. Recently, vaccinations have been added.

The few statistics I have found (e.g. ourworldindata.org) seem to paint a picture that Thailand has a higher positivity rate (positive finding v test) at the moment, than some other countries. However, I personally feel that stat cannot be relied upon in Thailand's case as the reports on actual tests seem to be inconsistent in regularity of reporting.
