I love the way that it is all blamed on online gambling. Sweeping under the carpet that gambling goes on in bars restaurants and any place where groups of Thais gather regularly. Watch any game of football with a group of Thai men and see how many different bets are made between each other during the game. Maybe instead of making gambling illegal regulating it (has the added benefit that it can be taxed) might be the way forward.
