Canabis again? More like drunk as a skunk. never ever herdof anyone high doing anything like this. Why does the media tend to want to vilify weed so much? Would it be better they say drunk on aclohol and name the brand?

I was almost expecting to see someone who sparked one up at a temple outside on the grounds. Now that would be more believable.

Looking at the pictures of this chap on the local news he looks rough even for a Pattaya tourist and sporting a recently bandaged injury to his arm.

Reminds me of the sort of homeless Falang you used to see here a few years ago before the authorities rounded them up.

That would be the instinctive thing to do, but a message needs to be sent. Charge him for his behaviour (whether alcohol- or drug-infused), fine him, massively, make him pay for all damage caused and if he can't pay, he works to pay it off within the Wat's property, a sincere apology and THEN send him back home... with a lifetime ban on entry to the Kingdom.

That is a bad idea. Because alcoholics and drug addicts have different personality during dawn and dusk. What if he causes more damage than good. May be do something for his life time memory. The best I could think is about "5 canes of whacking in his buttock, a punishment which is similar to those given to convicts and drug addicts in Malaysian Prison" That would be a good choice as each time he sits in his toilet bowl, he will remember it for the rest of his life.

Alcohol is 10x worse than cannabis. Stoners never punch nor grope anyone

Alcohol is one of the worst drugs out there

 

Do you know if a full blown Alcoholic  stops drinking cold turkey they could die

Where as a heroine addict stopping cold turkey would just result in some very sick feeling days

 

 

Add in the domestic violence, drunk driving and all sorts of issues related to alcohol

Not neccesarily true. Heroin addicts can die very easily going cold turkey as the stress is super high. Just depends on their system and the severity of the withdrawl which is physical and mental.
