"Despite authorities’ best efforts to rescue the motorcyclist thrown off the bridge, the intensity of the current and the darkness of night complicated the mission, reported KhaoSod."

It is really surprising to read that the river was holding the water current so that they boy is not dragged into it from the time he was flung into water until the authorities arrived to save him. Looking him struggling in the water current, the authorities have tried their best to pull him out. However it is an unfortunate event that the poor river cannot hold the force of its water current anymore and have to let the boy pulled away by strong current.

🤔..hmmm......it really puzzles me wheather it is a properly written news article or just copy past with the use of Mr.Google translate? Or just someone is trying to get some credit out of it?

He had apparently just been on a quick run to a convenience store before the accident when his motorcycle collided with the truck

14 years old so no licence, I am guessing his mother allowed him to ride the bike despite knowing it was illegal. A bit of parental discipline and some respect for the law would have seen her son still alive!

when the young boy’s motorcycle

A 14 years old boy is riding a motorcyle by himself? And the mom, who has allowed it, starts NOW to worry?

Sad to say, it  is the mums fault!

At night a 14 year old boy

Here in my village there are kids who i know are younger than ten years riding motorbikes like banshees out of hell down the main road. No helmet  no road rules. These people are poor but the kid has a motorcycle being paid on the never never system.

The police sit in my wifes restaurant having a meal and watch these kids and totally ignore them. This is in Prachin Buri.

The other day i saw a PRE SCHOOL  kid and her baby sister on one of these electric bicycles, with an additional seat  in the rear,  riding  in the main road on the wrong side of the road

When I speak to my wife about it she just shrugs her shoulders and tell me not to get involved

Absolutely no discipline and road rules and they wonder why so many children die

 50 procent I don't know / 50 procent I don't care. It's a Thai way of living. And then such a terrible thing happens. By now: 100 procent I don't  know 😕?

It isn't tragic, it's parental stupidity, letting a 14 year old tool around on a motorcycle without expecting that things might turn to p o o in the event of an accident.

Life Cheap Here. 50,000 dead kids RTA every year.
No action taken of course…..Culture = Corruption

Yet another national disgrace together with Rampant Systematic Corruption.
