Remember, race does not exist!

But in all seriousness, which body parts were involved? Observable racial differences are mostly of the face, vault, and certain superficial soft tissues. The feet, for example, are very nondiagnostic of human races, and even fossil footprints than cannot be Homo sapiens, look modern.

They said the hips and it was rather big which is why they think it's less likely to be a Thai person.

Well you could have read that for yourself but I guess you got too excited for some reason and ended up posting this gem.

I read just the first part, then felt, the rest of 'this gem' isn't worth it, it's full of shit. True people differ - on average by height between populations. But with a lot of overlap, so unless the body is from a Pygmy or a Watusi...

In forensic/physical anthro, the pelvis is the most reliable part of the body for sex determination, not very racially diagnostic.

If anyone has determined body parts are not from a Thai or other Southern Mongoloid, it's not because of their size.

The hair on the man's head was the give away unless it was black hair. Said to be only 48hrs after death so you would think thye could tell by what they found. Let's see if this gets washed away like the Koh Tao murders or if a scapegoat immigrant gets picked and railroaded..

Oh Brother, I must compliment the readers here for not making a crude post following this “gem” on superficial soft tissue.

Perhaps I have a special gift in identifying physical differences in people but I am quite confident I can differentiate between a Thai and a Farang male, and the soles of the feet are one of the easiest clues.

It’s elementary my Dear Karolyn.

Races are not just Thai vs Farang, though... and the wording was 'foreign' not 'farang'. No mention was made of any basis for race determination, except the size and shape of the body parts. (Maybe later in the text, I couldn't be bothered reading.)

Now that the murder has been "solved", I shall comment with a note of disbelief. The alleged murderer is a relatively buff good looking 29 year old from a financially comfortable family and with his own money. The  victim is an unattractive pudgy 44 year old cosmetic surgeon. The motive given is that the  younger man was concerned that the older man would cheat on him.

Really? If  he was going to cheat, why meet up in Thailand? The doctor could have easily had his way with one of the many available prostitutes of Columbia. The motive doesn't make sense. The younger guy could have easily met another "daddy".  I appreciate that there may be  an underlying note of mental illness here, but I think that there is more to the story and that the  RTP moved quickly.
