Seeing as half of Bangkok is already in the hands of the Chinese, I'm surprised they needed to bother with such advertising tactics.

I'm aware that some here have this visa, (their admission in comments) so have a question.

Can this visa be used for multiple entry via land borders also?

45 minutes from a land border, currently can cross, supplying a tm8 on leaving, BUT have to return via BKK airports which adds a night stay in Cambodia, a plane flight and 3 hours road travel to return home.

O visa holder.

I'm no Elite visa holder but I think the main point is that it lets you stay for 5/10/20 years depending on which one you got and go out and back in as you please just like a Thai national.

After entry you got a stamp in your passport with 1year stay permit, but need to do report every 3months(drop the passport at thailand elite office)

As an O visa Retirement holder, I've paid 5,000 baht for my 5 years stay so far and live here 365 days a year.

For 595,000 Baht what else do they give me in my goody bag?  Think one of us is getting mugged 🤔

Don't forget the 600k is a starting price for the basic package so forget the 10/15-year blah as that's not for the cheap Charlie applicants. It's the starter pack for those without their extensive property buying and investment portfolios.

Most of us will stick to our 1000-baht visa with a yearly 20-minute visit to the IO and blow the unspent 119k on something else each year.😄
