Sad for their families but turning across the front of a moving bus is never a bright idea. I feel very sorry for the bus driver who will be haunted by this for a long time to come.

How about the  volunteers who had to scrape the bodies off the pavement. They really do a public service  with that, allowing the families to have some closure with a body for cremation.

I agree these people do a fantastic job but they will not be repaying the incident for the rest of their lives wondering if there was anything they could have done to prevent this like the bus driver will. I spent 5 years as a bus driver and saw first hand the effect a fatality has on drivers even when they were proved not to have been at fault.
