Sue them for as much as you can get.  No short term compromises.

Probably lucky it was not a farlung with a big name insurance policy.  They are rabid sharks at the best of times for "at fault" litigation.

Thailand if you want to play in the "big time" international arena, get your shit together and learn a lesson from this. Short cuts, cutting costs for back handers will cost you billions in the long term.

May even see a few doing jail time if it becomes too much of a public issue i.e. face loss for Thailand.

face loss for Thailand.

Nothing will change unless they decide to accept the fact and forget about "Loss Face" in every blunder that they make. Just accept and apologise as the Japanese and more forward. Once dead the face also turns blue black. There is not more face to see. All they have to do is just get rid of that "Loss Face" mentality forever......will they?
