The Centre for Covid-19 Situation Administration is recommending the closure of 10 more places and venues in “dark red” zones as additional measures to combat the spread of Covid-19. Provincial authorities in each of the 13 “dark red” zones, including Bangkok, can decide whether to follow the CCSA’s recommendation. Here they go again "close the parks!!! Omg, the parks are full of Covid!!!!" but in the meanwhile home is where the Covid spreading happens. Keep closing the places where people can be healthy and let them stay where they mostly become unhealthy. These people call themselves doctors? Where is common sense? It's the world upside down.

Again, the CCSA is a day late and a dollar short, suggesting the enactment of poorly considered measures more likely to increase vulnerability to Covid-19.  The majority of urban Thais and many non-Thais live in small, cramped spaces.  There is no doubt that the more people are confined with other people, even family members, the more likely interpersonal Covid transmission is likely. 

Inexplicably, the CCSA is encouraging enactment of measures that enforce confinement in close quarters rather than encouraging people to get outside into areas where they can spread out in fresh air, perhaps exercise a bit and not be confined with others 24/7.

Large open spaces such as parks must stay open as long as people practice social distancing and swimming pools are not a issue as people can come prepared and not use changing rooms.

Fully aware the Centre for Covid-19 Situation Administration is recommending these changes and fingers crossed they see sense and listen to public opinion and make changes to the proposal.

Parks are way more dangerous than the MRT and BTS. That's why they still allow full trains to drive through BKK without forcing social distancing. Everyone is sitting next to each other without skipping seats. 

Maybe the fares got too high that Covid couldn't afford it
