News Forum - Going bananas: Thailand’s creative crackdown on Hua Hin’s monkey mayhem
There haven't been that many on Khao Takiab lately. I live in the Khao Hin Lek Fai area and they sometimes venture out. Occasionally, we will see a rogue one in our residential area, they usually come looking for food and then will sit eating it on your roof (anything from mangoes to cat kibble), looking at you as if to say "if you have a problem with me, come get me". I always find it amusing, they are very expressive creatures (though my cats get stressed about it). I wouldn't be surprised if people complained about those incursions, though. -

News Forum - Going bananas: Thailand’s creative crackdown on Hua Hin’s monkey mayhem
If I had to guess They used to be a bit isolated down by Khao Takiab but it's gotten so developed down that way now so they have spread out Worse I ever encountered is on Koh Lanta Just 1000's all over the road -

News Forum - Big pay day: Thailand minimum wage to hike to 400 baht in 2025
As I mentioned above, I don't have really any issues with my Thai family 4 brothers and 1 sister and all but one are extremely hard workers. Too hard actually If we need anything done at the house and need to go somewhere to do something they are at the house at 5am waiting on us to get going The one brother who doesn't work hard had some health issues but that was a while ago and he's used that as an excuse ever since to work sparingly. But even him, he's basically become my wife's assistant of sorts And he's very diligent at that. But at 33yrs old, we would be worried about our "future" He is just fine getting by from his family Not a way I'd want to live but he seems fine with it -

News Forum - Thai land dispute: Minister defends decision against court ruling
"He also addressed allegations of committee members being influenced by a notable figure in Buri Ram, asserting that the committee was appointed according to regulations, and any legal breaches would lead to accountability. Reports indicate that among the land documents under review, 12 title deeds covering 179 rai are linked to the Chidchob family. This prominent political clan owns several businesses on the land, including the Buriram International Circuit and a 32,600-seat football stadium, reported Bangkok Post." Methinks the reasons for this decision are becoming very clear!
