One look at the cost of airfares and it is understandable. (And yet, the number of people flying is more than ever.) 

It would help if the hospitality industry would have some semblance of room rate consistency. There are a few hotels I stay at when I travel around Thailand and ever since  Covid reopening, the room rates have been all over the place.

I honestly don't think room rates would have any impact, IMO

Well just a positive impact

 

 

Those of us that know Thailand can find good deals at any star level

 

And those that don't would consider the prices a bargain, as I did when I 1st came to Thailand (and still pretty much do)

 

I don't think anyone could have an honest gripe about room rates in Thailand
