Depending on the size of the aircraft, Trang airport runway isn’t that long. I’ve been on many different airplanes that landed on that probably 12 times as used to visit a seafood factory near there. Pilots probably made the right decision instead of risking it. Wasn’t 1-2-go the one that tanked in Phuket because if bad weather and a bad co-pilot technical decision?

These guys should be happy caution was taken.

There would be even bigger issues if the pilot having decided it was too dangerous to land had attempted it and caused death or injury to the passengers.
