Well...that puts some questions be asked
1. What is the schedule maintenance of all the escalators in the country?

2. What is the inspection period interval?
3. Who is responsible for the issuance of "Certificate of Fitness" for such equipments including lifts?
4. Who is the officer who inspected the said escalator and when?
5. Is the company which maintaining such esclators especially in the airport have the necessary expertise and qualified personnel to manage them?

And many more such questions should be ponder to get a clear picture.....will the authorities do that?

And these croc type rubber shoes and flip flops are extremely dangerous for this type of moving escalator. Still ok for use? Seriously?

You can also add was she paying attention?

How many others had successfully navigated that very same escalator before her that day and had they reported any issues?

Sorry but those internal videos don’t exist. So she is maybe only the first or second one at that airport to have it happen.

I assume the leg that can be reattached is a prosthetic?

In which case moving escalators, and even any stairways, might be more dangerous because she couldn't feel both feet.

Then why mention the sensor?

So one hospital amputated her leg and now another hospital want to re-attach it.

Note to self: be careful when you select your hospital!
