High speed impact and no seat belt worn for sure if not he will not be hitting against the steering and windshield. By the way what happened to the airbags? Why were they not activated. I am sure the car is equipped with the driver steering airbag.

No seat belts, probably speeding and its referredto as a tragedy? It was stupidity and until people start realizing that these avoidable deaths are due to poor decision making the deaths will continue.
