Isn't skytrax a pay for play company?

Doesn't say much for the competition. Bangkok Airways, like much of the competition, has been cutting back on the service over the last few years, they aren't quite down there with the low cost carriers yet, but are getting close. The lounges are about the only thing left in their favour these days - back in my airline days, travelling standby for next to nothing, I wasn't too fussy, but these days I usually check in way too early rather than late so access to lounges is appreciated.
