Oh no, the CCTV footage has been deleted within 24 hours....

Don't bother to investigate as this would damage the image of massage parlors for tourists and reduce $$$$$$$

There is no massage technique in the world that includes "accidentally" shoving a finger in a vagina. The real damage to Thai tourism is done by officials who try to sweep this under the carpet. What a joke though - no sex in massage shops - I don't think there's a single massage shop in my area where additional "services" are NOT offered.

And as for massage therapists shortage due to them working in the Middle East - same same - prostitutes, not therapists.

'The female shop owner defended her male employee, telling police that inserting a finger into a woman’s vagina is part of the service'.

Not any ligit message technique I have ever heard of.  Just ask  Larry Nassar, serving 250 years for doing the same to young athletes.

CCTV "deleted" Staff member has resigned and the allegation is that he put his finger into her vagina and that was part of a legitimate massage. I wonder how much was paid to the police not to investigate this sexual assault any further. Masseur is no doubt still working and looking for his next victim and his next and all subsequent sexual assaults and/or rapes will all be due to the inactivity of the Royal Thai Police. I bet Japanese female tourists will feel REALLY safe now. TAT must be pulling their hair out as Japanese are notoriously good spenders in Thailand.
