CBDC offers convenience BUT like others, it is subject to abuse & control....

* it's programmable (can easily be manipulated to comply with government edicts)

* It is as easy to debit an account as to credit it. Nobody checks the balance by the minute. Therefore by the time we realize money has been quietly removed, will be very difficult to resolve. (Before some sneer at this, do they know that people have seen money missing from their conventional bank accounts, and the banks cannot explain it. Cyber thieves are very sophisticated.)
