Just also allocate additional budget as very soon the other 2 elephants also will face the same situation. It is better to take back all  the 3 as Sri Lanka is having herds of elephant in their country which can do the work. The whole world is debating and echoing about ill treatments to migrants. This is also similar to that. Sak Surin is a migrant worker. He was engaged to perform work in a different county. And he has been abused and miss treated all his life. Hence better repatriate the other 2 colleagues of Sak Surin also along with Sak Surin before they end up like Sak Surin. If left behind may be they might not see homeland at all in their lifetime.

A sad situation. These poor elephants were sent as "goodwill ambassadors" and were then not looked after in a way that reflects their status. Our elephants are very important beings and especially as Sak Surin is now unwell, I think all three should be brought home.
