Some decade ago, the EU (and other countries) started, to push the burning on Borneo and in Brasil, the monocultures in West-Malaysia, for Palm oil tree plantations. With their "we need to put foot (ethanol) into the gasoline" campaigns. Since then, the market, till then dominated by food manufacturers (Nutella, as one example. Btw.: Milkas nut creme, without palm oil, taste as good or even better. I am saying that as an old/former Nutella fan!), was growing tremendous. Now, with pushing combustion engines more and more out, the palm oil market may shrink, so they may not need the oil from land burning areas and such, any longer. Assumingly  they can rise food prices now alone with putting corn and such, from the home markets, in the tank. The land for food is limited, the moneymaking ideas of politicians aren't
