It is very simple and straight forward. Just implement a mandatory rule across the country that all taxi has to use meter all the times. Any violation will end the taxi permit confiscated immediately. Everything will be safe.

Live rural - we don't have taxis?

Do have tourists though, I'm one of them on my current change over to a different visa type. 🤣

I was laughing so much after reading the start of the headline to this story "Thailand boosts safety" that it took me ages to read the rest of it and find out it was a nothing story
