Ah, the evil of alcohol 🍷 ... hic

Will Thailand ever wake to the fact it's the cheap lao khao 'fire water' which ought to be banned or taxed out of rural folks reach.  Not imported wines and beers.

another space reserved in jail, the new prime minister will have a work or expanding the jails to accomodate more criminals !

Considering they legalized marijuana and how quickly shops sprung up everywhere, one must deduce that this is a society addicted to intoxicants.  Ban it all and you would see much less deaths as a result of less domestic violence and inebriated driving.  But we know that would never happen.
