I have nothing against homesexuals, for what they do in private. Nor fow whatever mix of genes and early life, made them gay.

But kids get bullied for wierd families, so this shouldn't be endorsed or celebrated. Think of the children for God's sake.

By your standards poor people, migrants and people with disabilities should also not have the opportunity to start a family because they would be easy targets for the bullies. In effect you are punishing the gay community for the bigotry of a few. A fairer and more conventional approach would be to call out the bigots as they are the cause of the problem.

Who comes first, the gay community or children? Who basically have a legal status, in family matters, equivalent to slaves or chattel livestock. Gays are actually quite priveleged, in that regard. 

Which comes first, children's lives and wellbeing, or adult whim and preference? 

And this isn't just a question of the rights of X against Y. Not if you think parents are authority figures, with which comes responsibility, have a responsibility to their children's welfare. 

For that matter what is the family? Is it just there for LARPing, sentimentality, and tax breaks? Or is it a social institution, with consequences for society. Like preparing the next generation of future adults, which means none of this bullshit going on, in their formative years.

Where is your evidence that children to same sex couples are at a disadvantage to the wider population? Same sex couples who take the family route usually have a higher education and greater disposable income than the  general population. And your assertion that the rights of gays and welfare of children are mutually exclusive is waaaay off the mark.

I can tell you kids care much much less about this stuff than old white guys 

 

Most of the bullies on this subject are old white people and Christians, and Christians should be the ones bullied

If the Gay couple - men - get a divorce, how will the court proceed? 99% of the time the judge gives the children to the wife - female - so does the butch looking of the two loose out here?

A very profound statement and not considered enough in the debate. The kids growing up in these scenarios do tend to attend “better” schools. Less chance of exposure to the bullying riff raff.

But I would assume they'd look to see if one is the main caretaker
