She didn't like him being so jealous, then decided that purposely making him jealous would help the situation somehow.

Nothing in her story adds up. How was he laying on the ground if he hung himself? why would he go through with it if she assured him there was no other man? why does she have male Korean friends who would go along with such a plan? More likely is she wanted to get rid of him, so she did.
