Oh?

It is usually the other way round, in Phuket!

Oh, wait, one Tuk Tuk driver and a group of foreigners?

Yep, that usually the other way round

Sounds like a bunch of drunks on scooters trying to bully the local thugs.

Will be interesting to know if the tuktuk was illegally parked and obstructing traffic as they often do. Doesn't justify the  fight, but can  put event in context. It is understandable why the bullies fled,  as video shows a mob of Thais set on them.

This will be an expensive act of cowardice for Mr. Paul.

Dear Mr Paul,

You will quickly realise that this is not Europe, you cannot get drunk and then behave like you are in a colony, smashing things and punching people. Hope you enjoy your time in Thai jail, I heard it's quite nice. Might cost you a few bobs to get out also..

Yours sincerely

If you tell us all where you originate from maybe we can make a xenophobic remark about your ancestors and should you reply I will be addressed as Bwana. 😲

Next flight out, at own expense

It is always on "your own" expense.

Also you have to pay all money upfront and to present the flight ticket.

Plus you have to pay for "accomodation and food", if in detention.

Not like in europe, where the countries paying it. And letting the people on the roads, till they find a flight for the people who should leave
